Bohemian: Fasion plus a Piece of Writing

Goodmorning everyone!!!!! I'm waking up from a girls' sleepover...so this post is a little late :/

Here is the outfit I wore for Christmas!!! It was so fun :) - the outfit and Christmas. We had a blast!

On Christmas, we had a party and everyone gave speeches or shared something little. I gave the following :)

Reason For Reason ( A Facebook post by Keturah Lamb )

Atheism, evolutionism and such theories try to give a reason for existance, then say life has no reason, that all reason is unreasonable ( besides their reason for this unreasonable reason ). To them all is random madness lacking reason or meaning.

Yeshuah ( Jesus ) gives us reason for existance and shows how our life has reason. His reasoning demands that there be a reason for that what is, and that we reflect that reasoning by being and producing more reason.

Without reason we have no reason. Thus reason proves itself by reasoning what is reasonable. You can't explain the reason of something then say it has no reason. Because the reason reasoning exists is to prove that which is reasonable - that there is a reason.

GIVE ME COURAGE ~ Keturah Lamb

Give me courage, Oh Yahweh,
To get me through me every day.
Give me courage to stand strong
To sing your praise, to sing your sing.

If I need to run, help me,
Or need to return, lead me back.
Give me courage, chained or free.
Yah, in this let me never slack.

Give me courage to stand up
For others - Let me do what's right.
Let me never be afraid
To sacrifice my life - to fight.

Give me courage to face death.
Give me courage to face freedom.
Oh, Yah, please give me Courage
To help - to be others ransom.

When it's dark, give me courage.
When all hope's gone, help me shine.
Courage to go to the edge,
Show my face, step into your line.

I had fun doing my hair!!! I didn't have any bobby pins - but that's ok :)

(1 Peter 4:3-6)For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.  They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.  For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

How have your last couple of weeks been? Any comments related to this outfit....or ideas for future outfits? Have a great day, ya'll, and stay warm....it's starting to get really cold here! :)

Suuchi Scarf! {Review + Giveaway}

Hey, girls! To start off today's post, I want to congratulate Victoria Grace Tucker on winning the Christmas scarf giveaway. For those of you who didn't win... No worries. There will be a wonderful new opportunity at the end of this post. Today I am back with a review from Suuchi. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

Suuchi is a company that makes tons of customizable (sometimes drool worthy) clothing. They've got lots of dresses, blouses, and more. They offered me one of their scarves to review, my choice. There were a couple of initial problems, most of these were probably my fault. The only reason I mention them at all is to point out what a fabulous effort the Suuchi team made to help me out when I was confused or having any issues. Any company that takes the time to help you and will try their best to accomodate you without acting irritated about it gets points in my book.

The scarf arrived in a pretty quick amount of time, another nice thing. I chose the color orange sunset because I loved the pretty design and color. Here is a picture of me in the outfit I wore today. For some reason the dimensions look a bit strange and I'm sorry about the lighting! It was dark by the time we were able to do photos.

As you can see from the picture, the scarf has a shimmery quality to it that is really pretty. It's a very long scarf. In the picture it has already been folded in half and then over my neck. Some might not like this length, but I think it's a nice addition. It makes it simpler to wrap around your neck.

Here's one slightly closer. It still doesn't show the complete detail of the scarf so I'm going to share one more.

Here we go. The detail on this scarf is gorgeous. It is my favorite part of the piece. The scarf is light, but thick, and feels like quality. It has a silky texture to it that feels great against the skin and you could also wear it as a wrap (or belt) because it quite thick as well as long.

I am so pleased with this scarf. One never knows what they'll get over the internet, but I think I can safely say that Suuchi makes quality products. I have so enjoyed working with this company and having the opportunity to review this product. If you would like to check out this product, visit here.

 Scarf: Suuchi. Given to review.

Jacket: Southern Lady. We probably got it at Hamrick's because that's where we tend to get most of our Southern Lady clothing.

 Top: Rafaella. Thrift store find!

Skirt: Grace Elements. Found at Belk's.

Boots: Brand unknown. Found at Peebles.

Suuchi has kindly offered to give one of their beautiful scarves to one lucky reader! To enter, use the rafflecopter form below.

Thanks for reading!

Red Cowgirl

Hey, ya'll!

So, I'm away from home right now. Meaning my normal photographer, my sister isn't here to help me take photo's.

But to make up for that, she'll be modeling today's post :)

Meet Jerushah!

Having fun doing wild things, climbing trees, running through the creek, and hunting, she is more on the practical side when it comes to dressing. Which means she has a style totally her own. Think western, cowgirl, farm girl, native American and "whatever works" all together.

Outfit:

Dress: thrift
Shirt: thrift
Jacket: thrift
Necklace: gift from me ;) I can't remember the name of the store.
Boots: hand-me down

So, this is an outfit my sister wore to church. It was easy and quick for her to  put this together

She likes to match, and doesn't like much contrast. Also, she loves her boots. I got her to wear the necklace... something I bought for her that she happened to like.

It was comfortable, quick and passed my mom's and my approval of being decent. So, perfect for her. :D

So, what do you think of this? How is your day going? Comment your thoughts!
