Outfit Post: Brown Clothing

Hello! Again, I am winging it for this blog post. I’ve been wondering all week about what to write about. I can’t think of a single thing. I was going to do an outfit post, but I didn’t have time to take any pictures. ‘

You know what? Who needs pictures, anyway? I’ll just take a few from my Pinterest board (which you can follow. Just go check out the “about the girls” tab and you’ll find it) and make up a modest and classy outfit! Yay!

We’re going to need some common ground for all of these clothes, I suppose, so I can give this post a title. So let’s go with brown clothes. I know, I know. Not very colorful, but most of my skirts are brown. Why? Because brown is the new black. It goes with almost anything, and for any occasion. Wedding? Brown is good. Funeral? Brown is dark enough to show respect. Some random family party hosted by a family member you didn’t even know you had? Brown will be there for you. And that’s why I love wearing brown. In fact, I’m wearing brown right now.

Obviously, the whole outfit won’t be brown. If there were, it’d be boring. Not to mention overdone. Brown overkill, I guess you could say.

 

 And two pairs of shoes for people who prefer heels or flat shoes/boots.







 


To top it off, why not add a denim jacket? 

 

 The blouse is a Miss Selfridge blouse, I believe. I would wear an undershirt beneath it, though. The skirt is a brown fit and flare pleated skirt. I’m not sure of the company it’s made by. I’m not sure about either pair of shoes. For some reason, I can’t trace either of them back to any websites aside from Pinterest. The denim jacket is apparently from Stein Mart or, at least, so says Google.
