Fashionable Side Of Music

This has got to be one of the funnest photo shoots I've ever done. My sister and I laughed so much... but many of the pictures turned our serious... the irony!?

Lol.

I went on a short trip to TN this last week. My sibling came to the airport to pick me up. Supposedly they mistook another lady for me at first.

"She looked just like you... wore the same sort of knitted hat, clothes, earphones -"

"Wait!" I interrupted. "Earphones aren't a part of my normal outfit."

They laughed at me, like they weren't going to press the issue but I was wrong.

Haha. Oh, my.

Anyways, that inspired this post for you all! :)

Date in A Cave

 A couple weeks ago one of my friends took me out on a secret "friend date."

All I knew was to dress nice, but warm. And to bring a water bottle :)

And so, I had fun picking out an outfit. I just found this skirt recently... isn't it so fun looking? Very comfy and flows so nicely :D

It was a very fun time... as you can tell :) And the outfit ended up being perfect for the occasion ;)

It Was Just Too Ugly Not To Wear...

Hand-me downs are so fun, aren't they?

But sometimes you can be very unsure about what you are given. And honestly, I don't end wearing (liking) even half of what we are given.

But they are still fun ;)

This dress was given to us recently, among a few other dresses. When I first saw it I thought it looked horrendous... but it felt so soft!

Teasing mom, I held it up and said, "How do you like my new dress?"

She rolled her eyes.

So I teased further by putting the dress on.

And then I sort of fell in love with it.

And can you believe it... I started getting compliments on it... I even made some friends of a couple of older ladies when flying last month. 

People would say, "I love your dress."

I'd smile, looking down at the interesting print. "Thanks. I was unsure about it at first. But it was just too ugly not to wear."

For some odd reason that received quite a few laughs ;D ;b

I could see myself playing baseball in this dress ;)

Sister: Was that comfortable?

Me: Yes, why?

Sister: You looked comfortable.

Got to get a crazy picture... and the shadow of the dirt bike ;)

And another hand-me down I was unsure about at first... my shoes! I have fallen in love with them. They are so comfy and practical and match with lots.

She does some weird stuff, but it actually turns out pretty good, I think :) It's fun anyways :D

Most of this outfit was given to me! What a deal ;) I think I may have bought my bracelets. 

And my hair was just a french braid that started up on my head, down around my face, and into my hair. Very simple and unique. :)

Farm Meets Fashion

Every now and then I have to feature my photographer. Especially since it was her dress I used in my last post.

She is a bit more tom-boyish than me, but lately she has been getting into being more "girly" lol. All's good in it's own timing ;)

Anyways, the crazy farm life makes a great background for her gorgeous dress ;)

Fashion Post: Simple Yet Gorgeous Church Outfit

Ok... I am soooo sorry that I haven't posted in FOREVER.

I guess my excuse could be I was busy... lol, but aren't we all always? Haha. 

But the last couple weeks have been pretty exciting!!! I have my driver's license now (finally), got a new phone which will help make better pics for the blog, and I was baptized!!!!

Yes, these last coupld weeks have been VERY eventful ;)

Well, now that my excuse is over... I present to you a fun fashion post ;)

My siblings raise all sorts of birds(mostly chickens).

More of a really neat angle than fashion pic, but it is still pretty neat ;)

Sorry for the seemingly unenthusiastic smiles... it was sunny out ;)

Dress: Borrowed from sister. She got it from a thrift store.

Shoes: Yard sale. (These shoes are Earth Spirit and soooo comfortable!!!)

Necklace: Gift

Wow...this outfit was totally cheap (mostly free)! Yet.. so gorgeous. It just proves you don't need name brands or expensive price tags to dress up - where did those thoughts and mindsets originate from anyways???

As, for my hair, I did a small fish tale braid down the back and a couple small braids at the sides of my head. Fun, easy, quick, and textured :)
