Sharing Fun

Some weeks are just great. 

Others are even greater. Like my last couple weeks.

I have got to spend so much time with a couple of my friends. 

These pictures from a photo shoot we did at one of their houses.

As you can tell, it was a pretty location...and we had a lot of fun!

And, yes, pink and green are my go-to colors. They are just so gorgeous together!

Photo shoots like these are so fun! Dressing up with friends, smiling, doing crazy things - it's all an adventure! I must say I really enjoyed this one though :)

Spring...Winter...It's All the Same Some Places

On that day I was freezing...little thinking that when I would be posting this that I would be so hot!!

Such snow as this is cold!! ;)

But it's still fun!

Colorful Joy - It's Spring

What makes life worth living? And does fashion have anything to do with this question?

Of course, most of us would say that the only thing, or rather being, that gives life meaning and worth is God.

And we say this all with good reason.

Because what does He give to us that makes life beautiful?

Joy.

Laughter.

A smile.

Color.

Music.

And do you know what? The way we dress can reflect off of all God does for us. When I dress, I try to pick cheery, happy colors, designs, and styles that go with the idea of a joyful life - a life full of God's smiling goodness.

There are some parts of nature that are just too good to be real. How could you not smile seeing this?

Flowers can be in the strangest places sometimes...

Joyful in all of God's wondrous outdoors!

A Spring Day

The lovely Shelby was so kind to recently do a photo shoot with me.

And she got some very nice pictures if I do say so myself ;)

I don't like this picture so much..Shelby had to talk me into sitting on the edge of the bridge. I didn't want to because I was afraid I'd loose my balance and fall into the water. Lol.

I had to blow on that flower SO hard!

My Outfit:

This picture has funny story.

 Shelby comes to me one day and says, "Please, Keturah, take some Anne Shirley pictures of me!"

So, we go out to the yard and start taking all sorts of pictures.

Then we go to the trees that are full of blossoms.

Now swarming all around and in these trees are wasps, so we are being careful not to get stung.

She crawls under the tree for this shot.

Meanwhile I walk into the branched for a better angle - and as I do so I feel this something poke my forehead really hard. I back up to see what it was.

A wasp! 

And it hasn't even moved. It sat there, too fat with blossom bliss, to even move and just let me sting myself!

At first I couldn't really feel the pain I was laughing too hard. But then once I did I realized that being stung on one's forehead does NOT feel good.

in fact my head swelled up a bit and I felt a little hot and red and like I had a pretty heavy head.

Lol. 

But it was still worth it - because look how lovely the photo turned out!

Friend-Chooses-Your-Outfit-Day NIGHTMARE

Esther is one of my faithful readers [ and friends ]. 

She and I used to work together. We had some crazy times. Shortly before her wedding we decided to have another one of those crazy times - we each chose the other's outfit then ran out in the freezing cold to do a photo shoot.

We had one rule. That you had to choose a complete outfit for the other person from that person's outfit.

Much to our horror - but not in the least shocked, we were each disgusted with what the other picked out.

I believe I was the most disgusted.

They were my clothes...but, oh, my look what Esther did to me in my very own clothes!

At least I made her look nice :b

Once pictures were done we ran for the house where it felt sooooo warm.

Esther, I'm a little afraid we may be the only two insane people out there!

When it Was Still Fall

When I first came back to Tennessee this last November, I had the pleasure of working with a dear girl, Lisa.

She loved helping me gets tons of photos shot and saved up for mutliple posts.

If it wouldn't have been for her I don't know what I would have done for so many of the fashion posts :D

As you can tell, it was a very pretty day out. We also found a nice location for pictures...but had to walk down, then back up a steep hill for them :)

Right now it's cold again...just thinking about the warmer days is too much fun :)
