Wearing Your Hair in a Scarf

Lol 😝 How many people are crazy enough to dress this way - on a a normal basis, and in public?

 Me. 😉

I am rather weird in my tastes. I like wild, comfy, pretty, easy, crazy, fancy, practical all wrapped in one. - Those are some of my favorite words, too ;).

I get some crazy results :D Such as this new thing with my hair ( I've been doing it about 6 months now ).

I first did it in this picture - wanting something unique and pretty for a girls' party I was going to, I suddenly thought of braiding a ribbon into my hair. A close friend, Esther helped me! ( Never knowing how crazy I'd become weeks later ).

The ribbon was soon replaced with a scarf :)

At first I would just wrap the scarf around my head, tie it under my pony tail and then over. And then I just let it hang or braid it loosely into my hair.

For a wilder, looser look I just tie it under the pony tail [If the scarf has tassels it will add length to your hair :D ]

But the scarf does like to fall off the top of my head to my back quite often - especially at youth group. 😒 So, I bought some dark colored hair clips about 1 and 1/2 inches long and snap one on each side of the top of my head and scarf.

Keeps the scarf there 😀

For the ribbon variation I tie the center of the ribbon to a dark colored pony tail holder ( hairband ), make my hair up into a pony tail and then braid the ribbon into my hair tightly.

And now for the pictures!!! 😍

Stripes and Knit ( Outfit Post )

Hey, you all!!!!

This is a fun outfit I wore to church this last week. It has a couple of great things about it.

1. It's comfortable. ( Pretty much the whole outfit is knit! )

2. It's pretty.

3. I was able to incorporate my hippie look :) :).

I found the skirt on sale at Ross's and thought it was so gorgeous!!! ( secret: it was in the maternity section 😛 ).

Knit skirts are in right now ( I think. )

They are just so fun and comfortable and I can mix-match so many different outfits out of this skirt.

My hand is rather awkward looking, but who cares ;)

And a cute kitty!!!! :D

My hair was so fun to do! I tied a scarf under the back, pulled a generous amount of side hair through, and let it all hang.

Fast and dramatic :D.

Outfit:
Shirt: Thrift
Skirt: Ross's
Tank top: hand-me-down
Vest: hand-me-down
Shoes: yard sale
Necklace: made
Bangles: Plato's Closet
Scarf: Dollar Store

As you can see, this outfit came from allover the place!!! Has variation ;).

Denim And Feminine ( Fashion Post )

Hey, you all! I'm new to this blog - and since I'm new I should do this really awesome, unique post in fashion!!!😃

I should....

And I will....sometime after this post 😛. I promise, after this one I will try to do some really great ones.

But joining suddenly like this, I didn't take the time to prepare a longer post..so, yeah... :)

So, a little about me -  I am Keturah and 19. I was homeschooled, I live in Montana, I love writing and reading, and there are a lot of crazy things about me - too much to list off, but some of which you can read about at my blog or on Facebook.

When it comes to clothes I'm opinionated, in a free manner of speaking, lol!

I believe girls should dress pretty, practical and comfortable and that all three of those are equally important.

You can't have one without the other. And having all three should spell out modesty ;)

And I love denim. Its just so comfortable and practical - and pretty!

Cheap is vital for most girls I know  - meaning most will end up dressing "trashy" because they can't afford to dress up.

That's why I like thrift stores!!!

The hardest thing to find at thrift stores are nice skirts or dresses.

But you can find them!

This skirt was such an exciting find for me. Both of the shirts were found at thrift stores also.

One of the great things about denim skirts - they don't take much to dress up. As you can see, a colorful shirt and necklace does the trick for me.
