Crayon Stylus! {Product Review}

Cute right?
Hi girlies. Well, if any of you own tablets/ipods/whatever you've probably heard of stylus'. These little things are handy for when you want to write something, or do something more accurately than with your finger.

FlyCatchers sent me a Painting Lulu digital crayon stylus. I thought it would be cute for my niece and nephew to use when they use the coloring app on my mom's tablet.

 It is a pretty thick stylus, about as thick as my pinky finger, and they sent me a yellow one. It looks like a crayola crayon, except it is for tablets/ipods. The bottom of the crayon is thick and hard, but if you press against it you can tell it's almost a bit rubbery. The tip is soft and hollow. This is what you use to draw.

 I liked this stylus. It was nice for drawing on my mom's paper app. Of course the paper app had limited "pens" you could use, so I was stuck trying to color with a calligraphy pen but the stylus worked out okay with it. It also worked to move about the tablet like with a mouse. I could also use this on my ipod if I want, but it's an old one so it might be easier to just use my fingers.

The stylus also came with a free coloring app, which I have yet to download, but it looks to be pretty cute. I love the packaging and think it is adorable.

Here is my finished product. As you can see I am a great artist. HA! In my defense it was drawn rather quickly. I think I have another that was drawn with the stylus.

<--- This I like okay, except that my mom decided to test her penmanship and there was some squiggling done on the side. But oh well. This was a neat little tool.

Youth Express Eye Serum {Product Review}

I'm reviewing Youth Express Eye Serum from Natural Products Inc.

 Here is the official description from the company: Youth Express Eye Serum is a highly concentrated blend of invigorating ingredients designed to restore a youthful appearance to the eye area. Our serum contains an advanced Peptide Complex - along with Plant Stem Cells, Matrixyl 3000, Astaxanthin, Kojic Acid, Caffeine, Passionflower, and Vitamins C and E - which help to deliver exceptional results to the under eye area, resulting in a decreased appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles and puffiness.

As you can see it offers lots of helpful results and vitamin c is a very important ingredient. This is another one of those products I let my mom review. She told me that the serum was thick, not like cream, but a thick liquid. She said that it seems to be working pretty well and her eyes haven't been puffy or anything of the sort, so it seems to be working! I think she likes the stuff and will continue using it. (I plan on using it as well.) It's simple to use and a well made and packaged product. (Picture to come. Mom took it on a trip with her.) So yes, if you need a good eye serum this one is nice! Buy here.

Yalmeh Moisturizer {Product Review}

 So I've been sent several moisturizers to review (which I'm ecstatic about. All of them are better than the kind I was buying at Walmart) and one I've been enjoying recently is Yalmeh Glorify Vitamin C Moisturizing Lotion. Unfortunately, for reasons I will add in a detail later, I probably won't be able to enjoy it again for a long while if at all.

(Picture coming soon) This lotion comes in a tube. It smells really really nice. I think the best way to describe it would be a light citrus scent, which makes sense. It's a lightweight moisturizer, so not thick at all, and you only need a small amount to cover your entire face. I liked the feel of it pretty well. I really like Yalmeh products. They're very high quality.

 My biggest problem is the fact that the tube was so tiny at less than two ounces that I feel I wouldn't be getting my money's worth as it retails for about $17. I mean, it is a quality product, and perhaps I just use too much, but I can't afford to pay that much for beauty products.

 Besides the size issue I really like this quality and lovely product. Yalmeh is awesome. I'm actually going to review another product from them pretty soon so keep your eyes peeled. Anyway, if you would like to try this moisturizer, here is the Amazon link.

Konjac Sponge! {Product Review}

 Hola! Remember that moisturizer I reviewed a couple of weeks ago from Oleavine? Well Oleavine also sent me a 100% plant based konjac sponge to review. Whoo hoo!

Here's the lovely packaging. Now let me tell you a bit about the sponge. It is completely natural. The fiber is actually grown on a volcanic island in South Korea, which is pretty cool. It is free from chemicals, enhancements, etc. It's not tested on animals or dyed. So it's just a really nice, all natural
beauty tool.

 As you can see with the photo to the right, it is very well and tightly packaged. In fact, it took my brother and I what seemed like several minutes to get the thing open, but we weren't using scissors. The sponge is hard when it isn't wet, as sponges tend to be, and feels almost like if you squeezed it it would break. That isn't really a surprise since after you use it you are encouraged not to wring it out because of its delicate fibers. After you open it, you soak it in warm water until the sponge gets full. I basically just held it under the faucet until the entire thing felt plenty soaked.

The actual application felt pretty nice. The sponge almost felt as if it had soap or something in it, though it didn't of course. I could tell that something was rubbing, but it wasn't unpleasant. In fact, Oleavine heralds the softness of this project and how it is good for everyone, even small children.
I liked it. I only tried it on my face, but you can use it on your entire body. I love Oleavine products. This is yet another score for me. After I was done, my skin felt really nice and soft. I can't wait to see what my skin feels like after extended use!

After you're done you get the excess water out by squeezing it between your palms and hanging. In my new bathroom (a story I may have to share with you guys) I happen to have a wall mount with hooks so it worked perfectly. Ta da! The sponge comes with a string attached for that purpose, so it worked out well.

If you would like to try this sponge for yourself, check it out here.

Gotta Believe it to Be It

Hello Everyone!

Adriana here! Sorry for not posting lately. Life has been a crazy busy roller coaster ride but now, I'm back. So on with the post!

*not my quote. I just borrowed from Pinterest*

A struggle of mine lately has been that of 'Relationships' [insert dramatic music] Now,  I don't mean relationship struggles but lack of one... It sometimes actually upsets me because I really feel like nothing is going right, my life is going absolutely nowhere and I really just feel super alone when I keep hearing about my friends relationships or I'm told the exciting news that they are engaged (like what?!)

Now, I'm not saying I'm a girl who needs a guy to move on with my life and I am not saying that being an 'independent woman who don't need no man' is a bad thing. I'm just saying that eventually falling in love and getting married is something I would like to happen in my life and just being on my own "Without a Bae", as my mum would say to bug me, (She uses more teenage slang than I do haha) just sucks. I don't want to be single all my life and I'm the kind of person who really doesn't want to be single for that much longer, but who am I to control when Mr. Right walks into my life and sweeps me off my feet? God knows all that...but it's a very hard thing to remember.

The other day though, in a discussion with my mum about it, she asked me this. "What makes you think you are unloved and unlovable?"

I said I wasn't really sure and to be honest, I never thought of it that way. By saying things to myself or 'joking' about how I would be 'Forever alone' I was basically saying that. That was never my intention but that is and was what was happening.

My mum then went on to say(*note:not her exact words*). "That is a lie from hell. By saying this to yourself you are saying that you aren't worthy of love from anyone and thats how the devil is getting to you. He's getting to you and eventually you find yourself saying you're not even worthy of God's own love. You've got to believe that God loves you and you are loveable to truly be and feel worth it."

......Praise the Lord for the wisdom of mothers! ...anyways. I didn't even realize the truth and reality of what my mum said until she had actually spoken the words. Never once have I thought of it that way because you know, being in a relationship with someone and with God is completely different....or is it really?? Is there really a difference? I mean, yes. God created us and every one and thing around us, but is God's love any different? In fact its probably almost better in some, or all, ways actually. But anyways, besides that point (because that is a whole other topic for another time)

But, really. That thought process is the same. First it starts with you believing you are undeserving of love but then eventually you start to believe not only that but you are also underserving of God's love!

But let me end with something else my mum told me. "Mr.Right may not be here right now, but one day he is going to come and sweep you off your feet and it will be wonderful."

.....My mum also commented about how when he does come along she's probably gonna cry when he takes her baby away from her....but thats besides the point!

Victorian Barn Dance {ClassyGarb}

Hey ladies! I apologize for the lack of posts lately on my part. Thank goodness for Bethany holding the fort down with her reviews! I have been entirely too busy for blogging in general, at this phase of my life. I started college! I'm getting certified as a fitness trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association. Also, I've been teaching piano, nannying, and continuing to study at the Ocala Piano Conservatory. Oh and trying to write. Way too much on my plate! But it's all been fabulous, nonetheless. God is ever good. ♥

I love cold weather (cold being anything less than 70 degrees - hey, it's FL.) because it gives me a chance to bring out the scarves, boots and cute sweaters. Oh, and hats! Winter accessories are just so classy!

This was my church outfit today. I just found the skirt at Goodwill yesterday. I love it! It makes me think of barn dances and prairie-girl chic.
My boyfriend's mom gave me the scarf for Christmas. It is my favorite color and sparkly so naturally I've been wearing that a lot lately.
And the Victorian boots - those I bought from Recollections a few years ago. I hadn't really been wearing them much recently but as I was cleaning my closet out last night I found them and sorta fell in love all over again.

Haha! I don't know what I was doing here with my face.

Photo creds to my little brother who's actually taller than me.

// There ought to be more dancing. There really should. //

Sweater: Thrifted
Skirt: Goodwill
Scarf: Gift

Silicone Gloves {Product Review}

Hi classy ladies! Here I am with another product review... because several are not enough. :P Okay, so someday I hope to get married. When I was younger I really wanted something called a hope chest which I would store useful things for my future in. That never happened, but I now realize I'll probably have too many things when I leave home to fit in one hope chest anyway... but maybe not. Anyway, today's item is one that would fit right into a hope chest.

AYL Silicone Gloves from, well, AYL.

 These are thick silicone gloves that you can use for all kinds of heat related activity. Barbecuing, pulling things out of the oven, etc. Anything hot was no match for these nifty things.
 The gloves also happen to be waterproof.

 My mom is the main cook in our family, so when I got these to review I gave them to here. We seem to have a constant potholder shortage, so I figured they would help with that situation.

 My mom likes them. I even tried them. When touching hot surfaces, you can't feel it. Whenever I use a potholder I have to hurry or risk burning my hand, but these were a breeze.

 My biggest complaint for these is that if you don't pull them
on well enough (or maybe even if you do) and you have small hands like my mom and I, well, they can dwarf you hands pretty good. I wouldn't say that's a major problem. They're just one size fits all. They seem to be pretty sturdy and well crafted.

 I like these gloves and can promise that my family and I will continue to use them. Very nice! Buy them here.

Waltz Dance {Product Review}

Hi girlies! In the past we've talked about losing weight and exercise and fun stuff like that. One way to lose weight is dancing. I'm not talking about provocative grinding or slow dancing or anything like that. For example, SalsaCrazy sent me a Beginner's Waltz Dance to review. It's actual in two parts. Tonight I'm reviewing part one!

 I think Waltz is a lovely thing to see. It's graceful and usually not inappropriate at all. In theater productions I've had the pleasure of either waltzing or doing something similar a couple of times. Of the dances I've done in theater, the waltz may be my favorite just for its simple beauty. Well, seemingly simple.

 This DVD isn't a big money deal. The makers obviously had a budget. The picture didn't seem to be as clear as possible, and there were some slight speaking mistakes, not that that matters much anyway.

 The waltz was shown from more than one angle, and the men and women's steps were shown separately before being put back together.There are detailed tips about feet and other parts of the Waltz and the performers do well.

 My brother and I attempted this, and we did okay, but I think we're going to need to keep using the DVD to get better at it. The instructions were pretty simple, though we still tripped over our feet now and again.

 I think this is a pretty good DVD. It's not the best quality in technical terms, but if you want to learn to Waltz I'm not sure how many stellar quality DVDs are out there anyway. This one suits my purposes just fine. It's not terribly expensive and can be found here. So if you want to try out a little something different, something a bit classy, this is a pretty nice idea. The company itself offers lots of different dance DVDs.

Garcinia Cambogia Extract 85 % HCA Complex: Let's take two {Product Review)

 All right. Remember how I said I was going to compare these Garcinia Extracts that I talked about a few days ago? Well another one is up! This one was also tested by my dear mother. Today I'm writing a review on Garcinia Cambogia Extract 85% HCA Complex from Summit Nutritions.

 There was a big of miscommunication on the testing of this one, so it only wound up being tested for five days or so, so I may be a bit more lenient.

Although these extracts are mainly used for weight loss they have other benefits as well. The supplement is a natural source of calcium as it comes from a plant.

 The company says that the best way to achieve your weight loss goals are proper dieting and exercise along with taking this supplement. My mom says that she did not lose any weight while taking this but she could tell, once again, that her appetite was being suppressed. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but I think in general we sometimes tend to overeat so that might not be such a bad thing. She got full faster. She also felt more energized than normal.

 My mother will continue to take this supplement. Although she hasn't experienced the weight loss benefits yet, she hopes to, and I find this to be a pretty satisfying product with packaging and whatnot. I'm sorry I can't get a full scale review on this one because of the miscommunication, but it seems that you can always learn something by trying new things. So if you would like to try this supplement, you can find it on Amazon. And here is Summit Nutritions website.

 I hope you guys are having a wonderful New Year!

DogPlus for Classy Pets {Product Review}

Hi girls! Today's review is a little different. Many of us probably have those little furry friends in our lives who need special care. Well, I was sent a hip and joint supplement by PeachyDog to review.

This bottle contains circular pills a little smaller than a quarter. On the back there are amounts that you would give for the size of your pet--cat or dog. My dog fit into the two pills category.

 The pills are made with all natural, human grade ingredients. My dog is a member of the family and I don't want to give him anything that would harm him so knowing it contains natural ingredients was nice.

 It contains normal hip and joint supplements and additionally contains vitamin c, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, vitamin E, and a dark cherry and berry blend containing anti-oxidants.

This helps reduce pain/inflammation pets might experience, and also helps build the joints back up and even improves overall health.

I think this was a really good product. I've given it to B.J. (my cocker spaniel) some and he's been really perky. He's an older dog so that might be a mix... he also is outside now, which he seems to enjoy. But I truly believe this is helping him and his joints. He doesn't really care for the taste though, so I've had to put some peanut butter on them.

I think pet health is just as important as people health if you can do something about it. So if you need something for your old pup, these things have rave reviews. Buy it here.
