Therapeutic Foot Soap {Review}

I'm reviewing Oleavine Therapeutic Foot Soap. I received this product in exchange for my honest review through Tomoson and Oleavine.

First of all, I love Oleavine. A while ago I reviewed one of my favorite moisturizers to date from there that was really nice. So when I had the chance to give the Therapeutic Foot Soap a try, I had to give it a shot.

 Turns out that this was a good thing for more than myself. I think I've used the product a couple of times at most, but my dad has used it several times.

But let me go over the product. The soap is made of tea tree oil and is mint for soothing relief. The soap is advertised as good for skin irritation, foot/body odor, dry/itchy skin, and body acne. The only thing we've used it for so far is feet, but I want to try it for more than that.

 For some reason, we had it in our mind that we were supposed to add this soap to warm water to soak our feet in and I've only just realized that that was technically the wrong way to use this soap as I write this review. Well, then. Score for me for observance. I'm obviously skilled there.

I will say that I liked this as a soaking agent. I used it one day when my feet were particular sore, if I recall, and it was incredibly soothing on my tired feet. My dad has some feet problems and he also confirms the soothing nature of this product. So while we may not have used it right at first, we certainly found it useful. Now to try it for its actual purpose. Check it out on its website, here.

Lazy Lidz Sleep Mask {Product Reviews}

 Some exciting changes are coming to A Pinch of Classy, but we'll talk more about that in the future. Now I'm going to present you with yet another review. I KNOW. But only a few more days. 2017 has something new coming. For now, I'm reviewing the Lazy Lidz sleep mask.

 A really sad tale goes with this sleep mask and it is the primary reason I haven't reviewed it yet. It's also the reason I don't have a photo to include with this post. Let's begin our tale...

 Once upon a time there was a girl (that's me) who wanted a sleep mask because her first sleep mask was borrowed forever (stolen?) by her mother. She was sent one to review by a lovely company and her happiness began. Oh, but that happiness was short lived. After she had spent a bit of time with the mask, she went on a trip, taking it with her to block out light. It would have been better if she'd left it at home. Not even a few hours into the trip, she offered someone else the opportunity to borrow her mask because sleeping in vehicles is hard. It was then that the mask disappeared. The girl did not review the mask because she thought she would find it to take a photo. Alas, it was not meant to be.

 And that is the story of how I lost a really awesome item while on a trip. *Sad sigh.* And now that I'm going to be living in a college apartment next semester, I could really use that mask... how sad.

 Though I don't have a photo of the mask, I will direct you to the Amazon page, here.

I like this mask. It doesn't have any plastic feeling pieces on the mask. It's soft and comfortable against your face and the satin material is very nice. Instead of something that pokes into your skin, it just rests comfortably. The inside is soft cotton velvet. The mask comes with a free set of ear plugs, too, so that's nice. It's just a good product and a good company. Check them out at the link above.

Speed Jump Rope {Review}

 Time for a mystery, gang! *Rounds up the Scooby-Doo characters.* But really. This product is a bit of a mystery. It got behind on my review list and now I can't find it online. I'll have to check in with the company to try to find out what happened, but here's what I know. This product is called Speed Jump Rope Discover the Secret to Blast Fat! by Bella Naturals. The problem? When I visit the URL where I bought it, a completely different product pops up. Weird. So I shall review and send you to that site and maybe one of us will discover the mystery eventually. I received this product in exchange for my honest review via Tomoson.

My room is disorganized currently and I'm preparing for a big move and whatnot. I'm not totally sure where this jump rope is among the confusion right now, but I want to find it because I definitely want to take it to school with me. Here's a photo from the company since mine is unavailable for a photo shoot.

 When you think jump ropes, you think little kids playing a game while jumping over the rope swung by two other kids. But this jump rope is not like other jump rope. In fact, it isn't even a rope at all. The portion usually designated a rope is a nice ten-foot cable. (I'm pretty sure this is in my closet. Probably). Now, if you're thinking that ten feet sounds like a lot for some short persons (*cough* me *cough*) you're right. That isn't long. But this jump rope is special. It's adjustable. See the metal things on the end of the handles? You can tighten those at any length on the 'rope' and the product comes with instructions for you to set the rope to your height specifications. You can cut the excess cord when you're done. I just left mine, though, and hold both the handle and cord when jumping. Not ideal, but I can adjust it for different people in future. It's light and there's a slight learning curve, but it's nice and sturdy.

This jump rope is specifically designed for people to lose weight, not a child's toy at all. It's a really neat product and I can't wait to use it for a good while to come because I can definitely stand to lose more weight. What makes it all the more sadder is that I can't find the product! I will try to update you if I am able to track it down. For now, here is the link to the Amazon listing it was supposed to be under.

LeliaSea {Review}

Brace yourselves. More reviews are coming. This review? For LeliaSea Dead Sea Mineral Hand Cream. You read that right. Dead sea. I received this product in exchange for my honest review through Tomoson and LeliaSea.

First a little backstory on why I might be reviewing hand cream. Isn't that just lotion? Well, not exactly. But here's the thing. I've always had dry skin issues. When I was a child, every winter the skin on my hands would crack and bleed. It wasn't fun AT ALL. It was so bad at points, that my mom would put vaseline on my hands and cover them with socks at night. True story. I don't know about you, but vaseline covered sock hands are just not that attractive or practical... and that can be downright annoying. Needless to say, I sort of abandoned my vaseline and sock days as I grew older. The dry skin persisted at times, but thankfully not to the degree it had before.

As you can see in the photo, some of the bottle has worn a little bit, but the inside is what's important.

 So. Dry skin. I like lotion. It's good. But this stuff is really nice. It's designed specifically for the hands, so not a body cream. And it leaves you hands feeling incredibly soft without that "oh, I'm wearing lotion" feeling. You know? The one where you feel like you need to wipe your hands off or something? My hands are pretty dry at times so I they may not feel totally moistened, but the cream still works pretty well. The cream is thicker than most lotions which adds to the moisture, I think. Sometimes when I use thin moisturize, for example, my face will still feel dry. This stuff doesn't feel dry right after applying which is nice. Also, I love the smell. It doesn't have a strange, chemical smell, or lack of smell, but it doesn't have an overpowering scent either. The lotion is a soft, floral scent that is just enough to add to your overall scent without impeding on anyone's senses (or clashing with other scents you're wearing, as someone so aptly mentioned in an Amazon review). My mom even mentioned that I smelled good today while I was wearing this stuff. I'm pretty sure the cream had a part in that.

 But what's the cream made of? Well, obviously the cream comes from minerals in the Dead Sea. Add some essential oils, herbal extracts, and multi-vitamin complexes, and you have a pretty nice little product. Another thing I like about this product? It's compact. It can be placed in a purse (or the pocket of the bathroom bag I reviewed yesterday) easily. While the item is small, it lasts a good while because you only need a bit of the cream to spread on your hands. I believe you can find it in a larger size as well, if that's more up your alley. Overall, I like this product and I'm taking it with me to school. Hurrah. You can check out this product on Amazon here.

Contest! LeliaSea may give out one of these hand creams. Enter by commenting! :)

Shower Tote {Review}

I'm going to flood you with reviews. But this one I think you will appreciate, so read on. Today I am reviewing the Showermade Portable Shower Tote Storage Organiser... a lengthy name that basically means a shower or bathroom bag, as I call it. I received the product in exchange for my honest review from Tomoson and Showermade.

 When traveling, I'm sure we have all wondered that ever-present question... where do I pack my bathroom items? Those essentials for body and hair care have to packed somewhere and in the suitcase where a potential spill is possible is rarely the ideal choice. In the past I've used random bags for these items, but this can result in digging to find small items and other headaches. Not to be cliche, but this product kind of did change my life.

 Maybe that's too dramatic. I don't know. But this really is a great poduct. It retails on Amazon (here) for only $12.97, which is pretty awesome, and I'll explain why.

 As a reminder, this is an honest review. If I didn't like this product I'd pretty much tell you, but I genuinely love it. I've had this bag for a while and it has held up. The cloth, canvas-like strap is nice and durable. It hasn't frayed or weakened as far as I can tell. This product is awesome in a couple of ways.

Unlike a normal tote that only has the inside of the bag, this product has both a large space inside and several pockets of varying size all around the outside of the bag. Why is this so awesome? I can place smaller items in little pockets, such as tweezers or a contact case, and I won't have to worry about them falling into the depths of the bag. The inside works well for larger items, like shampoo bottles and other things.

I often fill this bag up and take it with me whenever I go on a trip. It's so handy! The handle is sturdy, as I've already mentioned, and can hang pretty much anywhere on a hook, or you can sit the bag on the shelf. I've done both. I love that it's easy to hang, but doesn't fall over like a tote might if I want to set it down. It's also pretty compact, so it can fit quite a big without taking up a huge amount of space. Another feature of this bag? It's made of quick-drying mesh fabric that helps keep it dry so mold and other nasty stuff doesn't happen. Pretty neat, huh? If you think this bag is as cool as I did, you can check it out at the link I posted above. It's worth it. I can't wait to take this bag with me on my two next trips... to visit my sister and then to my college apartment. Hurrah!

Alpha: Product Review

Today I have to do a quick review of a product I probably should have reviewed long ago. I am learning the consequences of putting off things so much lately, especially being in college. I'll have to write a review of that sometime. Today's review is on Alpha Garcinia Cambogia. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

 I went through this fitness phase that I wouldn't really call fitness. You see, I wanted to lose weight without putting much effort into it. I'm sure that sounds somewhat reasonable because some of us lead super busy lives (especially during school, in my case) where finding the time or energy to exercise can be difficult. I'm working on this, myself. Now, I think there are definitely some awesome products that can help in the quest for fitness, but merely relying on products can be lazy and not do much for you in the end.

 Garcinia Cambogia is a product you've probably seen raved about on celebrity sites. In fact, many celebrities claim it as a reason for their weight loss, or so the sites say. So I decided to review some. The idea of a product that could melt away the fat? Awesome. Now, it's been a while since I've tried this product (and I think I'll try it again, just to see and update you guys) but after trying this for a while, I didn't lose significant weight. Part of that was probably due to my busy schedule. Like I said, if you don't put any effort into exercising, you probably won't lose a lot of weight in most circumstances. So this product didn't do much for me the first time I tried it. Also, as a note, the product contains 50% HCA performance blend. I believe that the higher the HCA, the more effective, so 50% really isn't the best, but again, it's been a while.

Now, here are some of the product stats on Amazon:

  • 100% Pure Alpha Garcinia Cambogia Extract Featuring The Dr. Oz Recommended 50% HCA and Calcium and Potassium for Optimum Efficiency.
  • Clinically Proven To Help Supress Appetite, Block Fat From Metabolizing, Increases Fat Loss by 3 Times More Than Diet And Exercise Alone, and Promotes Healthy Serotonin Levels And Energy
  • Made In The USA In An FDA Approved Facility, Help Support A US Based Company Who Puts Their Customers First.
  • All Natural, Completely Safe and Effective Weight Loss Supplement, Non Stimulating.

e Sounds pretty okay, huh? I don't want to give a fully positive or negative review, because I think a lot of these things require extra research and depend on the human ingesting the product. Just because it hasn't worked much for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you. In fact, there are numerous positive reviews on Amazon that I encourage you to look into. Check them out on http://www.alphapills.com. Overall, I think that maintaining health is more important than losing weight. Things like exercise and what you eat apply greatly to this, but taking a supplement to help curb those appetite cravings might not be the worst idea, either. If you'd like to look more into this product, check it out on Amazon to read reviews and buy.

CHOMP sticks {Review}

Hello, Classy Ladies! I apologize for my lack of posts lately. Things have been crazy. One always thinks things will calm down for the summer but they end up being just as busy as school time and now that it's school time well... Needless to say, I'm a bit overdue on some reviews so expect several coming up. Today I'm reviewing a wonderful treat I received a while back but haven't reviewed yet: Chomp Snack Stix!
Official image.

 I received this snack through BrandBacker and CHOMPS in exchange for my review.

I received three flavors. Hoppin' Jalapeno, Crankin' Cran, and Original. These snacks are essentially large slim jims. BUT they are healthier. Yes. They are made from 100% grass-fed beef and no artificial ingredients. Oh, and they have a long shelf life... how? Celery juice. COOL.

 Yeah, I loved them. I've probably mentioned that anything that involves me getting food is a win. They have a sort of plastic outside (not really plastic, but that's how I'm describing them.) You can taste the beef in them, too.

 Let's talk flavors.

Original - The original flavor is somewhat spicy, not too bad. Beef tasting.

Crankin Cran - This actually has cranberry filling in it! What!?! It's is a mix of spicy and sweet cough, but delicious). Yum.
(spicy enough to make me

Hoppin Jalapeno - Obviously this one is even spicier. There is still that classic beef taste to it, but there is an extra kick. I noticed that they
were spicier when I first got them (or maybe my brain is just weird) but when I tried them more recently, they did n't leave a strong of a taste on my tongue. Either way, it was good.

I think my favorite could have been the Crankin' Cran. I love a mixture of spicy and sweet and the fact that there was actually filling inside the beef was pretty cool!

 As a note, the sticks are a bit softer than something like a slim-jim, but they are delicious. They are larger than classic slim jims and wayyyyyyyyyyy healthier. I think I would pack these as a snack all the time if I could. If you are interested in checking them out for yourself, visit http://www.gochomps.com to get your own awesome Snack Sticks.

Thanks for reading! What flavor sounded the best to you?

Suuchi Scarf! {Review + Giveaway}

  Hey, girls! To start off today's post, I want to congratulate Victoria Grace Tucker on winning the Christmas scarf giveaway. For those of you who didn't win... No worries. There will be a wonderful new opportunity at the end of this post. Today I am back with a review from Suuchi. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

 Suuchi is a company that makes tons of customizable (sometimes drool worthy) clothing. They've got lots of dresses, blouses, and more. They offered me one of their scarves to review, my choice. There were a couple of initial problems, most of these were probably my fault. The only reason I mention them at all is to point out what a fabulous effort the Suuchi team made to help me out when I was confused or having any issues. Any company that takes the time to help you and will try their best to accomodate you without acting irritated about it gets points in my book.

 The scarf arrived in a pretty quick amount of time, another nice thing. I chose the color orange sunset because I loved the pretty design and color. Here is a picture of me in the outfit I wore today. For some reason the dimensions look a bit strange and I'm sorry about the lighting! It was dark by the time we were able to do photos.

As you can see from the picture, the scarf has a shimmery quality to it that is really pretty. It's a very long scarf. In the picture it has already been folded in half and then over my neck. Some might not like this length, but I think it's a nice addition. It makes it simpler to wrap around your neck.

Here's one slightly closer. It still doesn't show the complete detail of the scarf so I'm going to share one more.

 Here we go. The detail on this scarf is gorgeous. It is my favorite part of the piece. The scarf is light, but thick, and feels like quality. It has a silky texture to it that feels great against the skin and you could also wear it as a wrap (or belt) because it quite thick as well as long.

 I am so pleased with this scarf. One never knows what they'll get over the internet, but I think I can safely say that Suuchi makes quality products. I have so enjoyed working with this company and having the opportunity to review this product. If you would like to check out this product, visit here.

 Scarf: Suuchi. Given to review.

 Jacket: Southern Lady. We probably got it at Hamrick's because that's where we tend to get most of our Southern Lady clothing.

 Top: Rafaella. Thrift store find!

 Skirt: Grace Elements. Found at Belk's.

 Boots: Brand unknown. Found at Peebles.

  Suuchi has kindly offered to give one of their beautiful scarves to one lucky reader! To enter, use the rafflecopter form below.

Thanks for reading!

Organic Toner {Product Review}

 Hey, girls! I'm back. Many thanks to Keturah for holding down the fort in my absence. Tomorrow is Christmas, so along with the rest of the girls here at A Pinch of Classy, I would like to wish a very Merry Christmas. I'm so thankful that God sent his Son to earth so many years ago to save us from the sinful world we live in. I'm hoping that you will have an awesome Christmas whether you choose to celebrate it tomorrow or any other day. Hopefully, there will be a bit of a Christmas present for you up as well, so keep an eye out! For now, I'm returning with a new review. Vitamin C Toner from Joyal Beauty. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

 When it comes to beauty products or just any product I'm going to apply to my skin, I want it to be good for it and not fake, chemically laden junk. Whenever I find a nice product made with all natural ingredients, I count it a victory. Hopefully, more companies will get the message and start making healthier products.

 Before I get into the mechanics of this product, I'll talk about what's in it. This product isn't just Vitamin C. It also includes witch hazel, aloe vera, and some other pretty impressive natural products. There is a full list on their Amazon listing, which is below. All of these products are great for your skin.

 The toner works in a different way than most. Instead of being applied by an open top, there is a spritzer that sprays directly to the face, taking away the need of a cotton ball middle-man. My mom thought this might be a bit wasteful if you use too much, but I actually like this method. It makes it much simpler for application and doesn't make any extra trash.

 The toner has a very pleasant citrusy scent and feels cool and refreshing to the face. The spritzer has a pretty powerful blast
so it might surprise you, but shouldn't be too much to handle.

I like this toner to use before applying my moisturizer. It's very nice and feels like quality. It's good for all skin types. If you're interested in checking it out for yourself. visit them on Amazon.

 Thanks for reading. Merry Christmas! Check back later today.

Voice Remedy {Product Review}

 Okay, so this review is actually a different sort than I've done before, but one I'm probably more excited about than some others. I'm reviewing Sprouts Voice Remedy and I received it in exchange for my honest review.

 I've probably referenced before but I love singing, musical theater, and performance. I also love to sing to glorify God. But one thing that can happen no matter how careful you are when singing is vocal wear. If you use your voice a lot over a period of time it will start to wear out and sometimes it is good to have something to help you out. That's why I was excited to review this remedy.

As you can see it comes in a dark glass bottle with a stopper. The stuff smells pretty nasty to me. Which is normal for typical voice sprays.
 It is a really strong scent that I'm pretty sure has to do with the herbs it contains.

The taste isn't a whole lot better. Sort of a weird mix between sweet and bitter, but it's not something one couldn't get used to, and like I said, it's basically the norm for vocal remedies.

I used this when my voice felt worn and it definitely did help with the soreness. I can see this stuff coming in handy next time I'm in a show, or even when I'm at a church event where I have to sing a lot. Even though its taste isn't the most pleasant, its uses outweigh its tastes and it isn't so bad, really.

 The one thing I have to say is that I think the company should try to convert to spray bottles instead of droppers. The problem with the droppers is you have to drop twenty-five drops down your throat and that can be pretty nasty/take a while. A spray bottle can be used rather quickly and efficiently, so that is what I recommend. Otherwise, a very nice product with helpful voice ingredients. If you are a singer or have a job where you speak a lot, I would definitely recommend looking into a voice remedy. Here it is on Amazon.

Jari Love {Website Review}

  Hello ladies! I'm sorry it's been a bit of time since my last post. Things have been busy. The Lord has blessed me with some wonderful opportunities this summer and I feel like I've grown a bit in Him, praise the Lord! I'm working on getting the youtube channel up and running, but for now, here is a review.

 Today I have the pleasure of reviewing a pretty cool site. It's http://www.jarilove.com/. More specifically I am reviewing their On Demand program. I received this opportunity free in exchange for my honest review.

  The On Demand program works sort of like a video streaming service, like Netflix. Instead of action flicks and romantic comedies, however, On Demand is stocked with work out videos, healthy recipes/tips, and tutorials. There are also audio workouts. Basically, it's pretty cool.

  Because my summer has been so busy, I haven't had the most chances to try the website, which is a bummer, but so far I like it.

  So, first things first. You set up an account. This was a bit of a hassle for me, but that was because of some things. These things were worked out, and the Jari Love folks were quite helpful and kind. Once I was on all I had to do was click on On Demand Member and I was in to look at all the awesome healthy stuff.

  The On Demand page was pretty simple to navigate. There are five tabs at the top: Home, Video Work Outs, Audio Workouts, Tips (including recipes and fitness/nutrition tips,) and the Log Out button. I'm going to go into details on the specific tabs (aside from log out of course.)

  The home button simply gives updates on when new content will arrive and whatnot.

  Audio: Many of the work outs are designed for a specific type of exercise. Both of the audio work outs are for the treadmill user, so of course I avoided those ones. So the audio work outs I didn't really use.

 Video: Many of the video work outs were also for something specific, but they were helpful. Most of them were two parters or could be split into more than one work out, which was pretty cool. Some of them required special things such as weights, but not all of them. The people in the videos were up beat and pretty cool.

 Tips: The fitness tips were pretty neat and there were several to choose from, such as At Home Work Outs and Dealing With Achilles Injuries. The nutrition tips are also nice, with articles about diet soda and eating advice. Lastly, although there weren't a large amount of them, the recipe tip tab had some delicious recipes on it. Mm. Now I want pasta.

  All in all, I think this is really neat site. Something like a Netflix for health sounds like a good idea to me, though I think they're still expanding their database, which will make it even better as some of their options are somewhat limited at this time. But I'm happy I've had the chance to review them and am going to enjoy the rest of my subscription.

Shower Mirror {Product Review}

 So, today's review gets to be a little different, which is cool. I'm not reviewing a skin product or a food product, I'm reviewing... a mirror! Yep. A mirror. But not just any type of mirror, oh no. I'm reviewing the ReflectXL Shower Mirror by Mirror on a Rope. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

  I don't know why, but for some reason having a hanging mirror in your shower is cool, especially if you're a guy because it helps with shaving. While I'm not a guy, I like to have a little decoration in my bland little shower and I think this mirror is really cute.

  Mom and I had fun trying to figure out how to set it up. They really wrapped it well. A film covers the mirror but it was so close we couldn't figure out if it was plastic or the mirror itself but finally we got a corner off and found the mirror underneath.

The mirror isn't heavy, but it is pretty durable. It's shatterproof, which is great with my clumsiness. It's also fog resistant. Here are some photos.

Here it is hanging in my shower to liven things up a bit. The mirror kind of tilts, which is cute. See the rope? It's adjustable so you can make it as long or short as you want. We adjusted it so that it would be about my face height or whatnot.

Here's from another angle, cause I figured why not? The rope is hanging off of a little hook that came with the mirror. It's nice and sturdy.

Although I've never been one for mirror pictures, it seemed the most reliable way to take this photo. As you can see it is a really nice mirror and not one that just barely works. I really appreciate this cute little product and I bet it could be a real use to some folks. You can see this product here.

  Have you ever heard of shower mirrors before?

God's Special Blessings + Product Review

  This world is headed into so many strange directions these days. Some see these directions as progressive and great, others aren't quite so thrilled. Today, I wanted to focus on something I think is very special. There are differing opinions about this thing. What is this? Children.

  Children are beautiful creations, full of life and curiosity. It's so interesting to think about how God decided to create human beings as small babies that grow up instead of just making full grown adults from the get-go. (Not counting Adam and Eve of course.) The miracle of life is one of the most fascinating and beautiful things, and a small baby happens to be one of my favorite things.

  Unfortunately in the world we live in, life and children are becoming less important. Parents are taking less interest in the growth of their children and what was once sacred has now become a nuisance. While I am not here to discuss political stances, and yada yada, I am here to provide encouragement. So I wanted to talk about something I am looking forward to: Motherhood.

  Many think that being a mother is a lowly job, and it's more chic to be a business woman or a doctor. Both of these things can be valuable, but I just want to confirm the value of motherhood today. Whatever you have chosen, there is a reason God chose women to raise children. It's because we are especially equipped to take care of and understand children. So while I also respect and love all women who have chosen to go into careers, I just wanted today's post to be a special shout out to those mother's who gave their lives to serve their children. (And to those who work to provide for their children, I salute you as well!)

  Although it is not Mother's Day, it is good to reflect and be thankful for the things a mother provides. My mother is a special woman. For years she worked and studied, hoping to become a doctor. When that didn't pan out, she chose another and equally important calling: Motherhood. She spent years teaching us values, and telling us about Christ. Her one goal was always that we do the right thing and serve God.

  My mother has taught me so many valuable things, including the importance of children. My mother (and my father) has always encouraged me to attain my goals, to follow my dreams, but to always keep God at the forefront of all my desires.

 I'm thankful for all the mothers God created, whether they are home makers, or businesswomen.

 And now a review! Speaking of motherhood, my sister is also a mother. She has both a three year old
daughter and a two year old son. (They're totally adorable.) See, here's my niece --> (you'll see my nephew in a future post.)

  When you have little children, light sockets can be a problem. Curious fingers mess around with them and they can make a lot of trouble. So when I had the opportunity to review some socket covers, I decided to get them for my sister so all the other moms who might read this blog could get some info.

  I was provided Coverplug paintable outlet covers form Coverplug Inc. I sent them home with my sis when she visited and she put them to use. And what I heard about them was only good news.

Usually outlet covers stick out so kids always try to pull them out but this one looks like a plate and completely covers the power outlet. You completely forget it being there and so do the kids (most important thing). Really like it. The kids don’t even notice it. It looks like one of the screw on plates, flat against the wall. It covers entire plug in. So it works much better than most covers. My nephew and niece are always pulling out plugs, but they can’t pull this one and don’t even notice. It covers entire outlet. Blends in and looks like regular outlet plates. Even if they wanted to they couldn't get their fingers around it to pull it out, unlike many outlet covers that stick out. You can even paint it to match your wall color so it blends in even better.

 So if you expect to have little ones in your house any time soon and need some outlet covers, consider these awesome ones. :) See it here

 Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed today's post.

Dead Sea Salt Scrub {Product Review}

Label is a bit wrinkled thanks to me getting oil on it
 Really cool product review for you tonight! It's an exfoliating body scrub from Adovia. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

 This is a super neat product. It is actual salt from the Dead Sea. Yup. And it's paired with moisturizing oils. So nice. Basically all you do is pull out a bit of the salt and rub it onto your skin. I had to wash my hands afterward because of the greasiness of the oils, but it is still really nice. My skin feels great afterward and it has a lovely, fresh scent.

 I haven't actually used it as a full body scrub yet but I'm looking forward to it. So far I've used it on my face, hands, and arms. It reminds me of a sugar scrub. You just rub the salt grains into your skin and it works wonderfully. You do have to be careful at times to make sure your oil doesn't leak. I accidentally caused a bit of a spill and am still trying to get my bottle to be non-greasy again. Still, it's just a sign of my clumsiness.

 I love that the brand is so dedicated to truly natural products and that this is straight from the Dead Sea. So cool. So, if you are interested in trying it, you can find it here!

 Here is an image of the product without the top on. As you can see there is plenty of natural oil to keep the salt moist.
And to the right is an attempted image of the salt on my hand. Not the most beautiful thing ever, but it is what it is. A really neat thing.

Thanks for reading!

Radha Beauty Clearing Serum {Product Review}

 I have another review for you ladies (a few over this week actually) but I'm excited for some outfit posts I'm planning and the new youtube channel I'll be starting up. I hope to do some recipe videos, as well as some possible vlogs, and video reviews. If you would like to submit a post for consideration please email me at bethyhope96(at)yahoo.com.

Source: Radha.
 Professional Age-Defying Skin Clearing Serum from Radha Beauty. I don't have any good photos of the product (let's just say it has been loved on) so I'm using one from the company. Though, as a note, the serum I received was in a taller and thinner bottle.

 This stuff is nice. It has sort of a weird smell, but that doesn't really matter. I usually put it on after I've washed and toned my face. When I use it regularly it really seems to make a difference. Though, be careful of sore places on your skin because it will BURN like crazy.

Now let's look at a little bit of what is in this product and the company that produces it.

Radha Beauty was started in 2014, so is a rather young company. They use all natural EVERYTHING, which is something I always love. They also don't test on animals. The serum contains such ingredients as Vitamin C, Retinol, botanical hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid and Niacinamide, which all work together for your skin.

 So it's a pretty awesome product that I've used (and will continue to use) quite frequently. You can purchase your own bottle here.

 Thanks for reading! See you tomorrow for another product review and hopefully more info about other things!

Potholder! {Product Review}

 Today I am reviewing a couple of multipurpose silicone potholders from Pratipad. I received these in exchange for my honest input and review. Thanks.

 I think these potholders are really neat. They have the unique attribute of being useful for just about anything you might need them for. My family has used them for cooking, as well as using as something to sit underneath a warm laptop. You can also use it as a can opener, and well... there are many ways you might find it of use.

 As you can hopefully see from the photos, the potholders have a honeycomb type shape all over them. These apparently help evenly distribute the heat and provide good protection.

These pads are designed to withstand both
extreme heat and cold. I noticed that they work really well, but if I held something more hot than normal for an extended period of time, I could feel the heat coming through them. This obviously wasn't such a big deal to me since most items would only be carried briefly if you were getting them from the oven or something.

 I like the versatility of this potholder. While you can do many things with regular ones, I think this
holder offers superior protection. It is an item I am excited to add to my 'hope' chest. I hope to be able to use it in the future. Have you discovered any neat items lately?

PS. If you would like to submit an article for publication on this site, email me at bethyhope96(at)yahoo.com to look into it. Would love to hear from you!
